It's Alive!

Several people have been pestering me to put up more animation, so I've finally gotten around to it.  Here's a little piece I did back in January as part of Falling Lizard, the annual make-a-film-in-a-weekend party at the UCLA animation workshop.  This was my third Falling Lizard (at the second one I created Mitch to the Rescue), and I think it's my best one yet.  So without further ado, here it is: It's Alive!

Weird Metronome v1.4

I finally found some time to make a new version of Weird Metronome.  This one has just a few changes, most notably the ability to play more than one note on a single beat.  This relatively simple change makes it possible to create beats that are much more dynamic and rich than was possible before.  I also aphabetized the list of instruments, so now it's a bit easier to find the one you need.

Weird Metronome v1.3

After a hiatus of more than a year I finally got around to doing some more work on Weird Metronome.  The result?  Version 1.3 is out!  The main new feature is that I added a customizable blinker that lets you define a difference sized blink for each voice.  I'm also made a few other features and bug fixes (including a fix for the #1 reported but -- the window no longer randomly relocates itself off-screen).  But enough talk.  We're not here to talk.  Yah, that's right, we're just here to pump <clap> you up!  So download!  Have fun!  Tell me if anything goes wrong :)

More Animation!  Ain't I prolific?

Last weekend I participated in Falling Lizard, the yearly weekend-long animate-o-rama at the UCLA Animation Workshop.  The theme this year was "Stick Figure Theater," and I created this short animation called Mitch to the Rescue.

Wizardly Musings

In the fall of 2002 I spent most of my free time working on a short animated piece.  I finally got it all set up here, so please view it, enjoy, and maybe even tell me what you think.

Weird Metronome v1.2

Weird Metronome version 1.2 is up and running.  This is a bug-fix release that corrects some problems that caused crashes on some peoples' computers.  These changes should also help me figure out why WM isn't able to initialize the MIDI device on those computers.
